Global South Scholars-in-Residence, Spring 2012, Geneva

Application Deadline: October 1, 2011

A programme dedicated to young university teachers from Africa, Asia, Latin America working in disciplines related to international and development studies. Selected scholars are invited to spend one semester at the Graduate Institute to further their research projects, update their teaching curricula, and interact with colleagues and students working in their field of specialisation. A generous contribution towards travel and living expenses is provided.


Global South Workshop, 26 November - 3 December 2011, Yogyakarta, Indonesia
Application Deadline: October 15, 2011

The workshop is an opportunity for PhD students from Africa, Asia, Latin America working in disciplines related to international and developments studies to present their research and to benefit from professors' expertise. This programme is intended to initiate a network of young graduates from institutions of higher learning in the South. A generous contribution towards travel and living expenses is provided. The workshop is organised jointly with the Graduate School of Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta.
