In the cooperation between Nong Lam University – Ho Chi Minh City (NLU) and Vietnam Education Foundation (VEF), VEF introduced Prof. Gisele Muller-Parker – Program Director of Division of Graduate Education and Human Resources – National Science Foundation (NSF) and Prof. Volker Michael Vogt-Cornell  University to NLU aiming to discuss possibility in joint research and provide some scholarship information by NSF.

On August 5^th – 6^th 2014, NLU is honored to have Prof. Gisele Muller-Parker, Prof. Volker Michael Vogt together with Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Phuong – representative of VEF. Warmly welcoming the NSF and VEF delegation was Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Phu Hoa – Deputy Head of International Cooperation Office along with Dr. Le Quoc Tuan – Dean of Faculty of Environmental and Natural Resources, Dr. Le Thi Dieu Trang – Vice Director of Institute of Environment and Biotechnology, Dr. Nguyen Van Chung – Institute of Environment and Biotechnology and some interested lecturers.

During their stay at NLU, Prof. Gisele Muller-Parker was happy to share some helpful information about NSF’s activities and research funding of NSF to NLU’s members. Besides that, Prof. Volker Michael Vogt and NLU’s lecturers also had discussion on biochemistry and molecular biology.
